First of all Happy Halloween!! Second of all I only charge 20 bucks any hour haha Sam..and thirdly did you know Rhode Island's full name is Rhode Island and Providence Plantations? Well it is so discuss that! What is everyone being for Halloween? Personally I'm going as the Grim Reaper so I can reap some souls..Ill post some pics later that will surely blow Mr. Green out of the water! Anyway I have to go find/make a sickle so Ill talk to you guys later!!
ps I think Across the Universe will ruin the Beatles for me..
Look, I'm all for the handmade Christmas but that's my thing. Handmade isn't Bizzie's thing (it probably isn't Brian and Ben's thing either for that matter). There's no point in arguing about it. It's Christmas, do what ever you want. Presents should be something that you think that the other person would like. If that's something you made, great! But that doesn't mean that it's any less meaningful of you went out and purchased it. It really is the thought that counts. No offense to anyone but I think that Christmas should be the free-for-all it's always been. Jamie and I will be there with our beautifully handmade presents in beautifully handmade wrapping paper and the rest of you, well, I'm sure your gifts will be equally as lovely where ever they come from. Now Bizzie and Jamie knock it off or I'll have to separate you two! :)

Ok, enough kindly older sister crap. I will be taking requests if anyone wants me to make something for them to give, first come first serve. But just so you know, I charge $50 an hour for my services. :)

On a completely unrelated note, if any of you haven't seen "Across the Universe" you should shut off this computer and run to the theater right now. I just can't say enough good things about it. That was our (Linda & I) movie of the week last week. We liked it enough to go straight over to Borders and buy the soundtrack. I would recommend that you get the two disc version if you do that, it has most if not all of the songs in the movie on it.

Alright, I have to get back to work now. I love you all and can't wait to see you in December!

Anyhow

So does anyone have anything else to talk about besides the perennially controversial Christmas presents? Oh I know, we have a five minute break during my Contracts class, cause it's 2 hours long, and when I was coming back to class from the bathroom I was texting and subsequently not paying much attention to my surroundings and I walked into the wrong class!! I stood there for about 10 seconds before I even realized it. Luckily they were having a break too so it was only mildly embarrassing. There now wasn't that much more fun than arguing about presents? I think it was.

P.S. Rhode Island is neither a Rhode nor an Island discuss!

crabby patty bizzie

Bizzie you are the only one fighting this and I really think you'll feel good once you do it. I'm afraid you'll feel left out when it really comes down to it, agency is yours.
If anyone wants to "home make" me this tee shirt I would appreciate it! :)

homemade or bust!

No offense to anyone making extra money, but I really think that everyone is born with talents...sometimes it takes a little discovery. Bizzie take a pic of something you love that is beautiful, identify it, and frame it somehow...that means a lot more than just purchasing something. Lauren you can figure this out too, start surfing the internet for ideas...write a poem, paint a picture, write a story, whatever! We'll all grow closer together I think! Sam, Katie, Jessica, and I are all I'm sure willing to help. Hope everyone is down for the challenge, I'm can't wait to see what Ben and Brian throw down. I think they'll surprise us all!
Jamie

First two pix are obviously of Jack-Jack, isn't he sweet!!! The first one of Noah is playing in the front yard with water and dirt...his shirt was only plays on the action. The second pic is Noah at April's wedding just thinking about his next plan of action, and the third is Noah eating a popsicle; all clothes must be removed for such snacks! I love my boys, they will one day be as the Armies of Helaman and that I pray for. Brian and I have been blessed beyond measure with these two precious spirits...We love you all and want you know that Heavenly Father loves you all and is with you always...
Love is with you all and don't forget! Love you, Brian, Jamie, Noah, and Jackson

This is at Trunk or Treat last night. Noah was a spider, Cody was Spiderman, Jackson was a bear, and I was Little Red Riding Hood. Noah looked really cute but he cried a lot if you put his costume on.

It's a sad day in Rockton, Hononegah lost to Guilford 10-14 in the first round of play-offs. We are all in mourning.

Hellooo there

I'm cool with making gifts and I'm also cool with getting paid to make other peoples gifts :) Marmie it's good to see you finally got signed up; now you can keep us posted on the strange happenings of your residents while you're at work..now we're just missing Dad and Brian..And to Bizzie you look absolutely ridiculous as Mr. Green and if you put that pic up you no longer have the right to complain about your gaping trap in my picture..Also in case some of you haven't heard this was the first week at my new job at Rosehill Dairy out in Hyrum. It's a pretty fun job I just go around getting price lists and samples out to people and see if they're interested in home delivery. Its got great perks; I have the freshest milk in the valley in my fridge right now..yum. Side affects include a constant milk-mustache and smelling like a cow.

Never mind I figured it out, thanks Biz

I'm a loser

I lost my keys and my jacket today. I left my keys in my locker at school and my jacket on the subway. Luckily I got my keys back from the lost&found but we're still waiting on the jacket. If I ever get rich enough I'm going to pay someone to keep track of my stuff. I'd do it myself but obviously I'm no good at it.
Here's a video to cheer me/you up

For my ward Halloween party me and my roommates went as the Clue characters. I was Mr. Green if you can't tell. For some reason my roommate's Mom had a comb-over wig. We won dinner at the bishop's house for our costumes. It was pretty fun!

HELP!

I signed Mom up for the blog thing but I can't remeber how to make her join the blog someone help! Her sign in is the same as her AOL one if you guys know that so someone help. And why hasn't Jess joined?

Lame

You guys are lame. Just take a minute and find something to do. Glue some pinecones together or buy a puppy and teach some cool tricks and give him away it's not that hard. If all else fails pay Katie or Sam under the table and they can whip something crafty up in no time. As for myself I plan on giving away a coupon for one free legal document to be drafted in three years time!
Now watch this freaky robot child!!!

Pictures

He, he. I just wanted to share my favorite wedding picture. Actually, I was just testing the picture upload for Jamie because yesterday I couldn't get anything to upload. But now it should work. I attached the instructions as a comment to your post Miss Jamie. I hope it works because I really want to see pictures of the new baby! Call me if those instructions don't help.

ps. I'm not trying to live in the past, we just don't take pictures so this is about as current as we get.

I agree with Bizzie I can't make anything! I have no talent!!!!!!!!

Sunday, October 21, 2007

I say boo to homemade gifts because I have no talents unless for a present someone would like me to identify plants and animals in the intermountain west. I don't really understand this whole blog thing but I figure if Katie did it anyone can. Also, Kat Stevens stop haunting me with that horrible picture of my gaping mouth. Although that baby did win me the pie eating contest! -Wicka Wicka

pix

How in the world do you upload photos...Tell me now, I'm going mad!

Cool idea

This is great, this way I can send all the pix of Jack and Noah at once to everyone. I hope everyone is doind well! Special thanks to Sam and Ben for making the trip for Jackson's blessing. Jack weighs as much as our friends 5 month old, he's 14 1/2 lbs. He loves being naked and when people talk to him. He is much like how Noah was. Noah says lots of crazy things like, buy it at walmart, let me go, and my turn Jackson. I'm sorry this blog idea may not have been such a good idea afterall...you all are the victims of a stay at home mom's amazement with her children. Brian is responding to lots of fire calls and taking shift at night time so he's a busy man. I was just thinking about Christmas time, and came up with an idea that might apply to most of us...Brian and I have a limited budget but would like to participate in the gift exchange...but were wondering if we could do it homemade style. I think it would give everyone an opportunity to use their talents and put a lot of thought into a precious gift. I also want to do something special for the parents, but we'll talk later about that. Let me know what everyone thinks about creative gifting, rather than just buying and giving. My friend Katy and her family did it, she said it was really great! Just an idea to change things up a bit. Much love ...
Szilagyi's out!

Jamie's E-mail Address

I sent an e-mail out to almost everyone. I never got Jamie's address, Ben has Brian's . . . but not Jamie's. So if anyone knows it, or Jamie if you get on here, let me know what it is and I will add you to the authors list. Hopefully everyone else got the invite.
