New Family Search (dot) Com

On my plane ride home from UT I was reading Elder Nelson's talk from this last conference and it inspired me to log onto newfamilysearch.com. I already had an LDS account because of the Church's main site, so it was really easy to get logged on.

Anyway, there isn't any Szilagyi information entered. I'm going to add in about as much as I can, but I thought I'd post this in order to try and encourage someone else to log on, because then we can share all our information. Sam, I hear you are the genealogy historian. How can I entice you?

Ben Folds Concert

Last night I went with some friends (including most of the Milam family) to a Ben Folds Concert in Park City. The concert started at 7:30 and the doors opened at 5:30 but since we had general admission seating tickets we got there around 3:30 to wait in line, we had cards so it wasn't too boring just the worst part was that it was about 100 degrees outside. We were on the news as the showed all the losers that were waiting in line (and I mean losers, the people in line behind us were playing dungeons and dragons!). The concert was awesome, he played with the Utah Symphony which made it even cooler and he even played some new songs which were pretty good. And since we were in Park City we went to the outlets and I got some baby stuff for my pregnant friends out there! I took some videos on my camera but they weren't that great so here's some pictures from the night! I'm in the group picture if you look hard enough!

A Cautionary Tale

So during the week we like to watch Minute to Win it and it always inspires us to try to make up some of those games on our own (usually they are stupid and lame). So on Thursday we went to a park to hit softballs and have a good ole time. So I was pitching (if you can call it that) and Steve wanted me to throw him his flip flops but he wanted me to try to land them on his feet. So I threw the flip flop and he screamed out "Minute to win it!" and stuck his leg out. As he did that his pants split right up the crotch (pictured above). He just stood there dumbfounded and I thought I was going to die I was laughing so hard! We gathered our stuff up and went home but our neighbor was outside so Steve had to use a shopping bad to cover the tear in his pants until we got inside. It was so hilarious! So let that be a warning to you all if you want to practice minute to win it tricks, wear spandex!

Ben was shaking his tooshy at my computer after I politely warned him not to knock it down. Well, he shook so hard his cell phone fell out of his pocket and into a toilet full of urine! I love when he gets what he deserves.

Saturday road trip

On Saturday we took a little road trip up to Racine, WI. After Mom, Dad, Katie, and I dropped Lauren off Batavia, IL for her ride to EFY we headed up the eastern Illinois boarder to WI. We stopped at this restaurant called The Shanty (which was featured on Diner, Drive-Ins, and Drives) and had some lunch. Then we continued on to Racine. We stopped at this pretty lighthouse where Mom and Dad had been once before. It was a very nice day, although it did start raining as we left. Anyway here are more pics of my 25 weeks and 4 days pregnant belly, just for you Ben and Liz :-)

I don't know about the rest of you, but I want to see a picture of Jessica! I was going to ask who was on board to bug her about it . . . but I just realized Ben and I are the only ones who haven't seen her recently.

The 4th was FANTASTIC!!!

We all just got home from Cleveland last night safe and sound; it was sooooo much fun!!! It was great to see Linda and everyone, and we even reconnected with some of the Szilagyi side. I love hanging with family on the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Belly Shot

So here's how I look at week 24ish. This last month has been moving sooooooooooo slow. I don't know if it is cause of summer break or cause I got over the half way mark or what . . . but I feel like he's never coming!

This picture is just to show off some photography skills. If you haven't seen all our pics from our coastal trip you better go to our blog. There are some good ones on there. This is probably the best though, so maybe I did learn something from my photog classes after all!
