Hey family I posted something!! Yeah!!

This is what this tornado did to every house it's path! This picture is after the clean up notice all the yards are clean and only standing walls are left. That is what Fema is doing down here they call it "Right Of Entry" or R.O.E's pretty soon they'll relaese demo contracts and the rest of these houses will be knocked down and cleaned up. Why would you do that when you clean up the original mess you say? Because the federal gov. is in charge and that would make sense!

More missing houses!

Driving a 60,000 lbs down the street!

Nice to see the arch again!

This was alot more fun than it looks!

There's alot more to show I'll try to take more pictures.

Love you everybody!

All I want for Christmas . . .

Wow, it's almost been a whole month since anyone posted on here.  Sheesh!

Well, as my title implies . . . I'm here to ask something of everyone.  I want pictures of kid-size Ben!  I know some of you have scanned old family photos into your computers, so if you could please e-mail me the photos as an attachment that'd be great (downloading them off facebook never gives me as high a quality as the original scan).

Ben only has about 6 pictures of himself as a baby and even less of him as a toddler/child. I'd really appreciate any pictures any of you may have with him in them, but pictures from about birth to 12 would really make me love you. I'll take paper copies, originals, computer scans, anything!  I'm certain there were more than 12 shots snapped of him, even if we only end up with 20, I'll still be happy as a kid on Christmas morning.

Thanks a billion!

Weekend Update

This weekend Steve and I went to the Chalk Festival at the Gateway. It was pretty cool to see what people were about able to do with chalk. Sadly, a lot of them weren't completed yet but it was still cool to see and it was free so we can't complain too much. We'll definitely be back next year! Here's some pictures of what we saw, I have more but as always blogger and my computer DO NOT get along.

Go Harry!

I liked this parrot one a lot!

On Saturday I had to work at a fair in Millcreek for work. It was ok until the wind started up. It blew so hard it blew everything off my table and blew my hat off. I didn't think it was very funny but I bet any of the numerous people that saw me acting like a dork frantically trying to collect everything did. At least I got to go home early since a storm was coming. Then I came home and made a pie for the men at church for Father's Day. Its a frozen peanut butter turtle pie. We tried it at church and it was really good and it was easy to make. Let me know if anybody wants a recipe!

Next weeks highlights:
-A visit from Jessica and Jazella*
- Steve's family is coming to his softball game (Thursday)
-Going to the Utah Arts Festival (Friday)
-Going to Logan to get my ring fixed and to see Emily (Saturday-Sunday)

* this is not an actual planned event, its just a wish.

In closing, I would like to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! I hope that everybody has had a fun weekend! Love you Guys!

Some New Scenery

Alright, it's time to get something new on here . . . and I guess that means I have to post something.  I'd put up pictures, but I'm pretty sure everyone sees them on facebook or my own blog . . . so I'll just be lazy and give some updates.

We are loving Oshkosh now that the weather is nice and balanced.  We've been exploring all sorts of wildflower species and love finding new trails to take long Sunday walks on.

Reid can easily get anywhere he wants, which is usually the entertainment center for the light on the Wii or behind the piano keyboard for the cords.  He still prefers the army crawl to the "real" thing.  He can crawl on all fours, but he's slower at that and I'd imagine his weight makes it a work out, so he just uses all the elbow strength he has to zoom himself around.

We keep thinking those top teeth are coming in (because he has some pretty fussy days) but they have yet to debut . . . but his two bottom ones sure are cute (and sharp).

It's really fun now that he starts to show preferences for certain things.  Whenever I pick him up and head near the front door he starts to bounce his legs and shrill in excitement.  He loves being outside.  He's still a people watcher, but I think he's starting to like cars and other things that make noise as they pass by.

This week we are house sitting for two families in our ward.  It sure has made us eager to have our own backyard, tho ours will likely never sit on a pond big enough to canoe around.

That's about all from Wisconsin.  If you haven't seen pictures lately, you really should check out my blog or both our facebook accounts.  We've been putting lots up, it's hard not to share how cute little Reid is with the whole world.

Tracy Aviary

Katie, Bizzie, Jazella, and I packed up yesterday and headed out to Tracy Aviary in SLC. Now, it was under construction, and the groupon we (bizzie) bought didn't turn out to be as helpful as we thought, but let's not dwell on the negative. All in all, it turned out to be a fun afternoon with the birds.
