Graduate School Acceptance!!!!

Hey so I know I already texted everyone, but I just wanted to write and say how stoked I am that I've finally been accepted and offered an instructorship position! I've been waiting since Dec. when I turned in my application, and I just found out today.

So this means, on top of my job with Student-Athlete Services, I will also be attending grad. school classes and teaching two sections of ENGL 1010 on campus this Fall and Spring. Next year, I will most likely be teaching ENGL 2010 courses. And the best part is, they are paying me pretty nice and offering me some health benefits, which I will sorely need after May 3rd...

Woo hoo!!!!!!!

Cute Pics

I think we've all seen these but I thought I'd post them here anyway. :)

Targhee Rules!!!!!

This is by far the coolest place I have ever ridden! Note the Teton Mountains in the background and the fresh snow all about... :)

Cool stuff on Google Maps

Simon found this on a website called The Awesomer and thought we should share it with you guys. :)  Boneyard

EFY 2010!

Finally some exciting new that's worth telling you all about. A few weeks ago I went to Provo to be interviewed to be an EFY counselor this summer, but 2 days after the interview I received an email telling me they wouldn't need me...BUT last night I checked my email and found another email telling me they DO need me!!! WOOHOO I am so excited I'm not sure where in the Midwest yet because I have to send in some tax forms but I should know next week hopefully. I know this is pathetic but this is my first job (if you could call it that) finally something to go on a resume!

Gong Xi Fa Chi

Happy Chinese New Year! It really is one of the best holidays. But I'd guess most of you celebrated Valentine's Day instead. We didn't really celebrate either. But I did buy Ben some glassware and a couple of flashlights, how's that for practical? Poor guy. He loved em though. Mine from him is still in the mail, but it's going to do wonders to the knots on my back and shoulders. He knows me so well, or he just wants me to quit nagging for massages.

Anyway, just felt like it'd been a while since we posted (beside silly videos), so thought I'd say hi! Let's hear everyone's Valentines/Chinese New Year stories. How'd you newlyweds celebrate?
