Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Yes yes ya'll. Its that time again, Harry Potter time!!! Katie, Biz, and I dressed up and went to the midnight viewing of Harry Potter and the Half Blood prince. Katie was a beautiful Luna Lovegood, Biz was Tonks, and I was Bellatrix Lestrange. It was a great time and an even better movie. We laughed, we cried, and went home wanting more...

To keep you all abreast . . .

I think everyone knows Ben and I are ready to make babies. But to help keep everyone on the same page, I think I'm broken :) I'll try not to give too much info, but I've pretty much self diagnosed myself PCOS. I actually thought I might have this long before I was ever married, but now that we've been trying for a while and been unable to create little Benies and Lizes I've decided I really do have it. I've been tested for it, but my sweet 'A gyno never called me back with results nor did his super efficient office staff allow me to schedule a follow up appointment.

So anyway, friday I go to my family doctor and I'm going to be assertive about this and ask for treatment. Now, I know you all want lots of nieces/nephews/grandbabies/cousins -- so pray for us . . . and get on Ben's case about going to the Doctor as well. He seems to think he's perfect, and though I mostly agree, I still think he should go get checked out as well. Thanks!!!

Identify this bird

I took this picture of this cute little bird in my work parking lot. I always see them there in the morning. My work is next to a big wooded lot. Anyway, I want to know what kind of bird it is. I know it is a quail of some sort but not sure what exactly. Who can tell me?

The 4th in Utah!

Here are some pics that I took over the weekend. I have been trying to get better at taking pictures. We went to a parade in Sandy, UT and we saw some awesome army choppers flying over head. There are also some random pics of the parade floats. That night we went to a house up by the U of U that had a gorgeous view of the valley. We could see like 9 firework shows from there, it was fun. It was not as wonderful as being in Bay Village, but it was a pretty fun weekend.

Budina Charles

The weekend of the fourth of July Bud had a stroke that affected his right side. Mom and Katie took him to the vet and he got some shots and his on two different kinds of medicine and now when he walks he leans to his right side and it is still hard for him to get around. But on a happier note he seems to be doing fine for now. Long live Budina Charles!
