Speaking of Stil Crazy

Back suspension seat post, so the stoker (the person in the back) doesn't feel the bumps. By the way, much to the amusement of all of you I'm sure, the preson in the front is called the Captain.

Your mom and I (ok I) just bought a tandem mountain bike with Marzocchi Bomber Shocks, Chris King headset, Weyless High Rise Bars, Back suspension seat post, new saddles , Mavic (Ceramics) Front Rim, Back Rim is not Mavic and Panaracer off-road tires included.

Should be here in a week or so, can't wait!

Look for us on a trail near you!

Can we change this background

Maybe its me getting old, but I can't read the titles that are in gray against this green background, so can we please change it?

Thanks!

Crazy as ever!

So as if I didn't have enough problems sleeping soundly, I'm currently reading Dracula. It is a great book, but I mainly read it right before I go to bed and it makes for some interesting sleep walking. For starters the other night I threw the lamp on my nightstand on the ground because I was certain the vampires were trying to use it to get into our apartment. Don't ask me how that would work, I just remember that they were very disappointed that I'd figured this out and foiled their plan. Luckily since the lamp is made of wrought iron only the bulb broke.
A few nights later I decided that I'd better set a booby trap in case the vampires got into our apartment. So, to further that end I took the copy of "War and Peace" that sits on my nightstand as a constant reminder that I still have yet to read it, and put it under Liz's pillow. At the time she was up late watching the Office. I remember thinking that when the vampire laid down in bed he'd hit his head on the book and be rendered unconscious and thus be easier to dispatch. Luckily, this plan was wholly without merit, and merely ended up confusing Liz as to why there was a gigantic book under her pillow.
I'll be sure to let you know if anything else funny/dangerous happens. Unfortunately for Liz's sake I'm only about halfway through Dracula and then on to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, so chances are I'll updating you all soon.

Update

It's been a while since either of us blogged so I thought I'd give everyone an update. First, Ben. He's working on an agricultural project at school which would actually work better if McCain was pres but that hasn't swayed him. He's working about 10 hours a week for a professor as a research assistant. And he has a couple classes. So he's a busy guy.

Scond, me. I'm ready for my Triathlon. I've run two 5Ks. My timing wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but oh well. I'm coaching volleyball and love it. The girls are great and my assistants are awesome. Teaching the second year is much easier. My students can be a pain sometimes but I still love my job.

This weekend Ben and I have been busy watching The Office. We love it. I think he even likes it a little more than me. He's seen them all at least twice. If anyone wants to come visit us sometime the weather is really nice! And we know how to entertain.
