So as if I didn't have enough problems sleeping soundly, I'm currently reading Dracula. It is a great book, but I mainly read it right before I go to bed and it makes for some interesting sleep walking. For starters the other night I threw the lamp on my nightstand on the ground because I was certain the vampires were trying to use it to get into our apartment. Don't ask me how that would work, I just remember that they were very disappointed that I'd figured this out and foiled their plan. Luckily since the lamp is made of wrought iron only the bulb broke.
A few nights later I decided that I'd better set a booby trap in case the vampires got into our apartment. So, to further that end I took the copy of "War and Peace" that sits on my nightstand as a constant reminder that I still have yet to read it, and put it under Liz's pillow. At the time she was up late watching the Office. I remember thinking that when the vampire laid down in bed he'd hit his head on the book and be rendered unconscious and thus be easier to dispatch. Luckily, this plan was wholly without merit, and merely ended up confusing Liz as to why there was a gigantic book under her pillow.
I'll be sure to let you know if anything else funny/dangerous happens. Unfortunately for Liz's sake I'm only about halfway through Dracula and then on to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, so chances are I'll updating you all soon.
