Officially the bad parent.

So I am officially the bad parent. I let Jazella fall off the bed this morning because I wasn't paying attention, a.k.a. sleeping. Oops! Talk about a wake-up call. Thank goodness she wasn't hurt, I think it just scared her because as soon as I snatched her off the ground she stopped crying and smiled at me. Phew! I was literally shaking because it probably scared me more than her. I know this well be the first of many falls, but man I was trying so hard to not be the first one to do it. I wanted Will to take that title. Is that horrible? Probably but oh well it back fired on me, dang it! Just thought I'd share my traumatic morning with all of you. Love you! xoxoxo

Ben will later thank you for freaking me out. I can't even imagine how terrified I would be. But your right, there will be many more falls, hopefully just not another until she's walking.

Yikes! I'm glad you both turned out ok. You guys should install some guardrails so she can't escape!!

Tell me about it Liz. I am now super freaked about where I put her. I mean I was bad before but now it's worse. I felt so bad I almost started crying. It was not fun. And yeah we should get some guard rails so it will never happen again. Ah!

This happens to all new Moms. Brian rolled off the changing table while I was bent over and landed on my back. I had to flip him off my back on back on the table. Fun,fun. Good thing they bounce at this age.

Yeah I'm glad she came out with no damage. It was a scary lesson to learn but I'm glad it didn't turn out worse.

Yeah Jess don't worry little kids are like bouncy balls! All of my little guys have taken pretty bad spills and rebounded without much damage. One time Noah chipped his skull on a water shut off valve in the front yard, and once jack did a belly flop from the top bunk! They're pretty indestructible don't beat yourself up too much maybe just get her a baby helmet! J/k
