I just saw two of these guys running around behind the Ray B. West building when I was heading to my office on campus. They were so funny calling to each other and flying up on walls. Very cool. Seen any of these in your backyard lately, Dad? Didn't think so.. :)

That is a striking bird.
So upon further investigation, it is actually a Chukar partridge as red-legged refers to a group of birds not one specific one...
None of those around here!
