That suck diddily ucks Flanders! At least it looks like you still had fun. You should have gone the Jackson Hole route anyway, then you can drive through the Tetons which are also amazing. You'll have to try again in the Spring.
We did have a lot of fun! Yeah there were several things we could of done, but we were pretty bummed out and as you can see, there was snow on the roads. The ranger said the north enterance was open, but that was like a three hour drive one way and the roads had more snow and were not plowed. And yes, we definately have to do it again.
Yeah for no Yellowstone!! It was fun!! Those pictures of the bison look great and I can't believe you can see that coyote so well in that picture since it was so far away. Thats a nice lens you got Dad!
It does look like you had fun despite your little set back. I never knew there were bison on Antelope Island. That is interesting.
I did actually know that they closed the park to cars in the winter but I didn't know the exact date. When I was at Ricks we went snowmobiling through Yellowstone and it was awesome! That really sucks that you guys couldn't go in, the park is beautiful in the snow. :)
